Permanent-David Cook
Today's theme is "sad song" and this one by American Idol season 7 winner David Cook fits the bill. The song was written for his brother, Adam, who fought brain cancer for over 10 years. I heard this song when he returned to American Idol in 2009 and performed it just a few weeks after his brother's death. I recalled this story about David and it made me cry, cry, cry as he sang.
